Accessibility

Goal

We design to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. We haven't yet completed an independent audit, so we don't claim conformance.

What we have applied

• Full keyboard navigation, visible focus and a skip-to-content link.
• Colour contrast checked in light and dark themes.
• States communicated with text, not just colour.
• The animated globe can be paused, rotated with the keyboard and stops if your system asks for reduced motion.
• Tables with headers, forms with labels and explicit error messages.

Known limitations

• The globe on the home page is illustrative; maps with data will include an equivalent table or list.
